Dialog Designer | |
|
Dialog Designer is the component in Million Handshakes handling the customer processes.
You create dialogs in Dialog Designer. A dialog makes it possible structuring communication with a large number of customers using a visual and well arranged method. The concepts customer and dialog are described in detail below.
What is a customer? "Customers" is the target of your customer processes. Thus customer is an extensive concept in Million Handshakes: A customer can be an existing customer, a member of an union, a sales lead or a prospect customer targeted by a campaign and so on. |

What is a dialog? Using 1 to 1 marketing, we create a sense of direct and individual communication and follow-up - even when processing hundreds and thousands of customers. We try to learn from the customer communication in order to improve the customer follow-up actions.
Structuring and assembling all customer communications in dialogs makes all this possible. A dialog is a tool used for planning, executing and administering your 1 to 1 marketing actions.
In order to better understand the concept dialog, dialogs can be compared to moving customer cards between different boxes:
| |
1) |
We want to target all customers not having purchased any products the last year. Their cards are put in a box called "Group of those to be contacted". |
| |
2) |
We want to call some of the customers, and some we want to contact by mail. Thus we move the cards into two new boxes named "Call these" and "Write to these". |
| |
3) |
Dependent on the customer feedback after calling the customers, these cards can be divided into new boxes: "Could be interested, follow-up!", "These ordered a product" and "Lost customers, make a winback-plan". |
|

|
The customer communication is illustrated above using boxes and cards. The steps in a customer process is visualized using graphical elements in the Dialog Designer. |
